Ikan patin Temerloh

Bila bulan2 puasa nih teringat plak nak makan gulai ikan patin. Talking about ikan patin, one will always know that ikan patin is very famous at Temerloh. I had been to Temerloh many times last year and every time i go there, mesti singgah gerai2 makan jual gulai ikan patin...sedapnyer.... Paling glamer kedai Pak Usop tp kedai2 lain pon x kurang sedapnyer... May be because gerai Pak Usop is in the GPS Map, so that's why it's more popular than other restaurants.

Setengah ekor mcm ni is about rm6-rm8.

Kat sini, famous air jagung + ice shave nih.
It's about rm2.50 per glass.
Lepas makan2, boleh jalan2 kat pekan Temerloh. Pekan (or should i say it a town...) ni kecik saja, kalau nak dibandingkan dengan Kuala Lumpur atau Shah Alam. Tp, during the Ramadhan season, ada bazaar ramadhan...sedap betul beli-belah and the price is cheap too. I don't know where i put the bazaar's photo. Couldn't find it!

The town of Temerloh.
When we come here, we always stop by at the river. X buat ape pon, just duduk2. My kids like to play with the yellow balls... Panjat2, lompat2 atas tu...

Agak2nya ada buaya x...?
At the river bank

If u wanna stay overnight, there are a few guesthouses and Seri Malaysia hotel chain pon ada. U can also get to Kuala Gandah Sanctuary from Temerloh but if I'm not mistaken, it's about 40 minutes drive.  Ok folks, time to go...bulan2 puasa ni x boleh nak karang panjang2...letih! he..he..

SURFERS PARADISE, GOLD COAST

Exploring Surfers Paradise on foot is a fun activity itself. If u're staying at Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise is just a walking distance. Not only that, u'll have everything at a walking distance too... Bus stops, duck tour, restaurants, parks, shops, the beach, u name it! So, after leaving the Observation Deck, we walked to Surfers Paradise. Dengan cuaca yang cukup cantik hari tu, we walked along the sea...Tp laut tutup (i mean surfing is not allowed) hari tu coz the waves and currents were very strong and it was not advisable for surfing...Tp ada jugak 3-4 kerat umat yg berdegil dan telah dipanggil balik oleh life guard. Our plan was to buy food at Baha's (our favourite eating place) and berpicnic di tempat2 duduk yg disediakan....

While we were walking...
Picnic by the sea

You will see this large bench (is that what u call it?) along the pedestrian
walkway. Ada banyak...selang  100m  ada satu...
I can sit here and stare at the sea forever!
Look at the wave!

Skyscrapers by the sea. Mostly hotels and service apartments!

Look at that girl! memang fav die main pasir... unlike the brother, he dislikes all the dirty things...
People having a stroll at the beach
Other photos of Surfers Paradise...

Activities u can do at Surfers Paradise

The famous Maharani Restaurant...

After a few hours at the beach, we went souvenir shopping. We shopped at one of the plenty souvenir shops there. It is owned by a Malaysian. I didn't go to many shops to compare prices as I didn't have the time. So, we bought all our souvenirs at that shop only.

Posing la pulok...
Last but not least, we stopped by at HRC to buy our t-shirts and hubby took a photo with this very friendly Hard Rocker!

HRC Surfers Paradise from the outside. This was taken on other day.
We were back home at about 4 and despite the chilly weather, my children still wanted to swim [sigh]. Mereka berenang dari cerah hinggalah gelap hari...Adoila...!

While they were swimming, I took the opportunity to snap a few photos from the pool.
Public Pontoon is just behind the apartment.
To tell u the truth, memang agak malu jugak dengan mat2 dan minah2 salleh
kat bar tu sumer...

That's about it for today. The next day was our last day in GC and we'll be going to MovieWorld... Yay!!

SKYPOINT, GOLD COAST

Salam to all! I shall continue with my journey to Gold Coast. On the 4th day, we didn't go anywhere. We just explored the nearby area. My former plan was to go to Brisbane but i pitied my kids coz they looked a bit tired. The weather today was super fine...very very fine...:)

Look at how beautiful the day was... This was captured from the window of our living room
Another view..this time taken from the front door. Dari sini pon dah nampak Skypoint yg tersergam indah
Since we  had decided to go to the Skypoint in the morning, So, after breakfast, we walked towards the Esplanade. Through my reading, I know that the Observation Deck is situated right in the residential area's building. But of course they have separate entrances to maintain the confidentiality. We didnt really know exactly where it is but we could see the building from far. So, we just followed our own route, keluar masuk alley sambil snapping2... at last, we reached our destination. It was still quite early. A cute bald young guy approached us. Apparently, he was working there and asked for our ticket. We got the tickets for free after buying the tickets to Dreamworld. Before we went up, he snapped our family photo at the entrance and we ended up buying it at the end of our visit.. Mcm tu lah cara mereka ni..tangkap2 gambar kita, kite pon belik... We seldom bought any but this one  looked really nice, with us and the Surfers as the background...very harmonic!

We walked to the observation deck from our hotel. Tu Tiki,
bangunan kaler kunin tu
Tengah2 jalan terjumpa kedai sewa hummer.
Do u notice the highest building in this photo? That's where the
observation deck is situated.
On our way to the Skypoint, we walked across Surfers Plaza
Resort...Anyone has stayed here before..?
At last, we reached Skypoint in 1/2 an hour. Actually, if u brisk walk, u'll reach the place in 10 minutes. But, we stopped and posed here and there..so, we took longer time...:)

Skypoint from across the road
From bottom to top
If u haven't bought yr tix.. This is where u buy one...

To the right, there's a shop selling alcoholic beverages...

A few seconds will take you to the 77th floor
Walla..u're already at the 77th floor.

A lil info taken from Skypoint website:

SkyPoint located on top of the iconic Q1 Building, one of the world's tallest residential towers takes you to the highest point above the Gold Coast and offers spectacular 360 degree views from the surf to the hinterland and beyond. Rising 230m into the sky, SkyPoint is located on Level 77 & 78 of the iconic Q1 Resort in southern Surfers Paradise. There are 9,463 curtain wall panels in the tower from level 3 to level 85(top of crown) which cover 32,685m2 and have a combined weight of 1,303 tonnes of glass and aluminium.

Cantik tak?
The view from the top. U can see the whole 360 degree area from here.

Weather watch
AUD2
There's a cafe here but we didn't dine as we knew the price would
be explosive...! We brought some snacks and they seemed fine with it...
Far an additional UAD, u can climb the Q1

Our apartment from Skypoint OD

Inilah rupa attire kalu nak panjat...
There's a small room where u can watch a documentary on GC..From the past till now... The doc is about 15 minutes
long.
Lepas Skypoint, we went sightseeing at GC... Thought of combing both in a post but i'm a bit lazy to write. So, will continue at other time...Bye!

PAMERAN RAJA KITA

In conjunction with PAMERAN RAJA KITA, i will write every bit of the writing in Bahasa Malaysia...

Rupa2nya, kat istana kita pon ada 'changing of the guards' (maaf, x tau mcm mana nak alih bahasa).  Malang sekali, 'changing of the guards' tu dah tak ada semenjak istana baru digunapakai. Kalau dikekalkan pon x pa.. bertambah menarik lawatan ke sana...

Blm apa2 dah nak belik ais krim...Nampak x budak berdua tu tngh
tunggu giliran...? Pakcik ais krim ni memang kaya dok kat istana ni
pasal x ada plak nampak pakcik2 ais krim lain meniaga selain dia...
Sesampainya kat depan pintu gerbang istana, terkasima sekejap..."Apalah aku ni... mcm2 istana dah pegik, kat London, kat Edin, kat Beijing kat...mcm2 lagikla...tp istana negara sendiri baru la ni nak jejak..." Tiba2 pulak rasa semangat patriotik yang membara... So, jadik tangkap gambarlah kita kat depan tu...

Pintu gerbang Istana Negara Lama
Masuk percuma, x da alasan x leh p...
Padang kat tepi istana...
Lepas tangkap2 gambar..kami pon masok ke perkarangan istana.. dari istana nak ke balairong seri tu agak jauh, dalam 800 meter jalan kot..tp x terasa, pasal 1 tapak jalan, tangkap gambar...setapak jalan tangkap gambar... Ada dua rumah pengawal yg kita kena lalu, satu kat pintu gerbang, satu kat pintu masuk balairong seri.. tp mereka x periksa apa pon, sekadar duduk2 aja kat situ...

Perkarangan istana
Perkarangan istana lagi...
Lampu yg bergemerlapan...
Untuk pengetahuan semua, hanya satu seksyen sahaja yg dibuka untuk pameran iaitu bahagian balairong seri...yg lain semua ditutup. balairung pon balairunglah..janji dapat masuk...

Sign ni diletakkan kat pintu sebelum masuk balairong seri tu...

Sebelum explore geladah tempat ni, kita t/t buku
pelawat dulu...
Budak2 ni seronok pulak dengar dokumentari..W/pon dokumentari tu cuma orang bercakap-cakap, tp mereka mengganggapnye mcm org rap (tanggapan sayalah), pasal saya nampak dak Farah begitu seronok mengangguk2 dan geleng2 kepala mcm syiok sangat dengar lagu... Sehingga saya pon terpedaya dan tertarik nak dengar.."Meh sini mama dengar lagu apa nih.?" Farah pon bagi... Rupa2nya.."Kesultanan Melayu merupakan...bla...bla...bla..." Huh, tertipu dngn budak nih... Ingatkan lagu tradisional ke hape... Jom kite tengok aksi perak dak Farah & Faris kat sini.

Sedapnyer lagu...
Dah tukar kedudukan nampaknyer...

Sekali-sekali bawa budak2 mengenali raja kita... Tambahan pula, dekat aja dengan rumah...Tempat letak kereta pon senang..mungkin kebetulan waktu tu x berapa ramai orang... Saya letak kereta betol2 depan istana, sebelah pakcik ais krim tadi... Kalau sapa2 perasan, kat gambar pakcik aikrim tadik, yg kereta biru tu..he..he...  Sapa2 yg belum pergi tu, bolehlah berkunjung... Baiklah, sebelum saya melabuhkan tirai, terimalah serangkap pantun untk semua...

Opppssss...ada lagik! Saya nak tempek kat sini dak Farah punya penulisan pasal Pameran ni... Pendek aja...enjoy... (saya x edit apa2 pon...apa yg die tulis, tu lah saya tampal...)

Sehingga berjumpa lagi, Wassalam...
