Halal Food at Manila: Martabak cafe (Indo-Malay Food)

This cafe is located inside SM Mall (the largest mall in SEA). Some people say that Martabak Cafe serves tasty food but i didn't think so... May be x kena dngn anak tekak... If compared to Persian Kabab, Martabak Cafe serves smaller portion. They have variety of food options, though. The place is small. It only has a few tables inside (air-conditioned room) and the rest are outside the cafe (open air concept). The halal cert can be seen before u enter the premise.

Price? More expensive than Persian Kabab but still affordable.

SM Mall.
This is the main entrance

Nasi Goreng Ayam (too much msg, IMO) about 100++ peso

Minuman wajib: Mango juice
80 peso

Mi soto which was not to my liking

Kuey teow goreng

They also have combo meals inclusive of a main meal, a drink and soup for about 200 peso.

Small, right?

This is the address:

G/F 131 North Parking Building, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City

From the main entrance, x payah turun naik escalator, dkt tingkat yg sama with the main entrance and u head straight to the North Wing. If u wanna be more certain, u just go to their customer service booth, and they will give u the direction with a map.

After eating, u can shop for souvenirs at Kultura...

  1. Didn't know that there're plenty of options for halal food in Manila. Ini sudah bagus. Btw, just noticed that you're heading off to Istanbul and Rome soon. Syoknya! I love both cities!
