So, a day before we left Beijing, we went to the forbidden city. This was my second time to the the city. Forbidden city is very easily accessible by public transport. Before I go any further, what is Forbidden city and why it it so important to the Chinese? Bagi yang x tau, Forbidden city ni ada dalam cerita karate kid Jacky Chan tu...
The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. The former seat of Imperial Chinese Dragon Throne from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty—the years 1420 to 1912, it now houses the Palace Museum. The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years - Wikipedia.
Forbidden City ni sangatlah luas... Penat berjalan, di tambah dengan cuaca sejuk di musim sejuk. The weather that morning was 3 degree celcius if i was not mistaken...brrrrr...
How to get to Forbidden City on your own?
Get the metro and stop at Tian Anmen East Station, exit B. Ada dua cara, but this one is the easiest, according to the receptionist at the Happy Dragon ;)
Forbidden city ni berdepan dengan Tian Anmen Square... Tian Anmen Square ni mcm ala2 dataran merdeka... dulu dah p..so, malaslah nk p lagik
|
Sebelum masuk kena check and scan bag dahulu... Beratur panjang sebab
hari ni ramai orang... al-maklumlah cuti krismas.. check2 ni cuma
routine check aja, semua benda boleh bawa masuk, kecuali bom lah kot
x boleh bawak.... |
Dah lepas check askar...

One way to know whether the restaurant in China is halal or not by looking at the shop sign... Usually, green restaurant sign indicates Halal Restaurant.
