Hello Manila!

My trip to Manila ni banyak jugak aralnya...ha..ha..I booked my tix, then cancel my trip, then 2 days before departure, i decided to go... Boleh plak mcm tu, kartun betol. I even had written to AA asking for my airport tax refund, tiba2 jadik pulak pegik..

I booked my AA tix to Clark in Aug for RM124 return. However, u need to spare 600 peso for the airport tax at Clark. 


X sangka kat Manila ni banyak tempat yg boleh kita lawati.. x apa, next time kite repeat dan pegik Pinatubo, Corregidor Island and Borocay ahh...  Since we were out of time, so, we had to really plan our time well here. Thanks to my colleague, Kak Nik (u know who u are)...he.he..who had planned such a tremendous journey.

Our flight was scheduled at 6.45am..Typical AA, 6.45 still isi minyak... They announced that the delay was because of the two passengers who had checked in but they didn't show up... x taulah betol ke tidak...

Even though the journey was 3 1/2 hours,it was the longest journey i had ever encountered. The reason? sitting alone (my friends were scattered all over the plane), adik sebelah pon x nak borak, very indulged with his i-pod... i was bored to death...read 360 mag, napped, ate my meal, snapped photos, sneaked to premium seat and got busted after 20 minutes... what else could i do?

At last, I arrived at the airport. It is actually a military airport turned into a commercial airport. very small airport, i think KT's airport is larger and more modern. Lepas keluar terminal, our driver for today, Naf Naf dan ada tunggu. Well, sepatotnya si Jon Jon yg dtg tp since die ada kerja, so, Naf Naf pon Naf Naf la... Overall, we were very satisfied with their service. Cheap, new car, on time and most importantly, they catered to our needs and interests. So, sapa2 nak contact detail, can just email me and i will give u the email.

The journey to Manila was about 1 1/2 hours depending on the traffic. It can be more tha 2 hrs as the traffic condition in Manila is pretty bad. IMO, worse that Jakarta. The road is small it only has one main road for all the cars. Our plan was to check in at the hotel, solat and went to Intramuros.

We booked online, just send them an email, and they will reply immediately  My rating? OK for a short stay. After all  we are not going to be in the room all the time. Small room but adequate enough for me. You could hear the honking even though i was 4-storey high above the ground.  Hey, this is Manila, what do u expect? There are plenty HALAL eating outlets just a short walk away from the hotel.
