Siem Reap : The beginning

Welcome to Siem Reap Int Airport. Kecik airport ni
It has been 2 months since my trip to Siem Reap. Kali ni buat reverse... cerita expenditure dulu... Here's the detailed expenditure for my 3 days 2 nights trip:

Flight & accommodation : rm340 (all in)
Boat ride (tonle sap) : usd12
Transport (3 days) : usd13 - recommended!
Cultural village: usd12
Pass for wats: usd20
Massage: usd20 (2 days)

I didn't shop much. I didn't even purchase any baggage allowance (naik AA kan) . Bags are cheap over there. I bought 2 laptop bags (9 usd each)  and a 5L knapsack (usd11). Cheaper than in HCM, I guess. All were of  good quality - AAA,  I presume...hehe.... i also bought some packets of local spices..hehe...nk masak la kunon... went to HRC and bought a T.

My friend found out the price at new market was slightly cheaper than the old n night market. Ie: the bag was originally usd9 at the new market compared to old market which started the price with usd15 n u hve to bargain n bargain. My friends bought silk mcm Thai silk tu for USD10 per 4metres.

Another tip: souvenirs at Lara Croft's tree (Ta Phrom) are much much much cheaper than the markets. Ie: 3 FMs and 5 nail clippers cost u Usd1. Flute with nice mat casing is also usd1. 2 table runners for the price of usd7 compared to usd5 each at the markets and the list goes on.

3 for USD1
I did spend much on food though.  Roughly about usd6 per meal (lunch n dinner). Breakfast was free. It could be lesser like usd3 or 4 but we just wanted to taste all the heavenly food in Siem Reap..haha...

Food...food...food
Everything is in USD in Siem Reap. They really dislike their  own currency 😄😄😄...kikiki...

All in all my trip to Siem Reap was 90% success. The 10% goes to not having to watch most of the shows at the cultural village due to heavy rain.  Apart from that, everything went well. A special thanks to JM for all the input that she had poured be4 my trip..hehe...tq JM ~THE END ~

*Stories will come next....

The whole brady bunch...;)
