TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT BUILDING (TMGB)

DAY 8

Sedar x sedar, dah lapan hari kami di bumi Jepun ni... Hari2 dok berjalan, mana nak ingat kan... Hari ni kami bercadang nak ke Tokyo Metropolitan Government  Building (TMGB) untuk melihat bandaraya Tokyo in 360 degree. Yang seronoknya tempat ni ialah....it's freeeee!!!

WHAT IS TMGB?

TMGB is a building where you can see the 360 degree view of Tokyo from the popular 202-meter high observation decks, located on the 45th floor. On a sunny day, if u are lucky enough, u can catch the glimpse of Mount Fuji too...:)

OPENING HOURS
South Observation Deck: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (until 10:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month)
North Observation Deck: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Close on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month (South Observation Deck), 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (North Observation Deck). If closing day falls on a national holiday, the observation deck will open on that day, but will be closed the following day.

HOW TO GET TO TMGB?
If by metro, there are 2 methods to reach the place:
1. Tokyo Metro Nishi-shinjuku Station via the passageway to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government      Buildings: 10 mins on foot
2. Tocho-mae Station on the Oedo Subway Line is located in the basement of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

Obviuosly, kami memang kaki pemalas berjalan. So, memang kami amik option 2. Very convinient. Terus sampai basement of the stipulated building..he..he.. (kena simpan tenaga, hari masih panjang. banyak lagi tempat nak menapak.) Ini direction dari Kurumi Mansion ---> From Monzen Nakacho, kami ambik Toei Subway Oedo Line ke Tochomae Station. duration: setengah jam. No transfer. Harga: 270 yen.

Ini lif nak ke atas dari Tochomae
Ada banyak sign, jngn risau
Naik atas terus nampak building ni.... Tadaaaa....!!!

Moh kite!

Dekat atas tu ada 2 souvenir shops and a coffee shop. Sempat lagi kami belik2 kat atas tu. Yelah, aktiviti cuma tengok2 view, lepas tu ape lagik... Faris belik ultraman figurines... Berkualiti katanya.. boleh pusing2 pinggang (hmmm....die aja yg tau...) and i bought puzzle sets with frames. I also bought transparent files. Unik file tu, boleh tukar2 from day to night.

Plenty of puzzles
