HATYAI FLOATING MARKET @ KHLONG HAE FLOATING MARKET

Another iconic landmark of Thailand is the floating market. I think almost all of the areas in Thailand have their own floating market. So, while in Hatyai, we had the opportunity to experience on of Hatyai's interesting attractions;  Hatyai Floating market @ Khlong Hae Floating Market where u can buy all the local stuff and food.  Here we can witness food or things that sometimes we have never had seen in our own country....  Also a great place to kill your time during your visit to Hatyai... Jom layan gambar....

Food...foood..food...plenty of them and Halal too... But not all food is Halal, u just need to check with the vendors for confirmation. But most of the sellers they put the halal sign at their shops/stalls.

Curry puff and pumpkin donuts
Pulut mangga...again?
Exotic food....
Ni ntahlah...maggots kot...huhuhu
Quail eggs

Antiques...

Magnets...

Pilih...pilihhh... murah...murah... Farah pon sebok membelik2...

Locals selling on the floating boat.

The sellers use bamboo tubes, coconut shells, and clay pots instead of using plastic bags or foam boxes.
What did i buy here...?
A blouse, a bag (for my mum) and Farah bought a cookie monster t-shirt. That's about it....

I do not know how to give direction to this place as we just switched on our google map and drove here. i guess it's not that difficult to find but what i remembered was, the market was situated not in town... more like in a small village area. However, i found this from placesandfoods.com
